Kobby Osei-Kusi, Executive Director
Mr. Osei-Kusi is the founder of Pirl Technology, a fast-growing hardware startup making power electronics for consumer and industrial applications.
Before Pirl, He was a Senior Project Developer and an M&A finance professional with The AES Corporation based in Arlington, VA. While at AES, he executed several power infrastructure development projects in Ghana, Benin and Nigeria, including the development of the 300MW gas-fired barge project in Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to AES, he was an investment banker at Credit Suisse in New York, focusing on equity and debt transactions for global industrial companies. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.
Martin Bioh, Board Member
Mr. Bioh is a proven operations leader with extensive experience leading various services lines with powerful outcomes. He collaborated with multi- disciplinary teams to recover $1.8m of uncollected revenue in a year. He develops, executes, and communicates evidence business strategies to support target services and is excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills with ability to interact with individuals from a variety of disciplines. He managed business operations for the CEO and IHVI research, including trending foundation and research scorecards and financials, and overseeing strategic financial operations for faculty and leadership team.
Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi, Global CEO & Founder of OKF
Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi is an award-winning senior leader, lecturer, keynote speaker, philanthropist and entrepreneur. He has over 20 years of diverse professional experience spanning corporate environments, educational institutions and non-profits.
He was the winner of the Foundation Philanthropist of the Year 2017 award at the National Philanthropy Awards in Ghana, the winner of the prestigious SME Ghana High Impact Personality Award in 2016, the winner of the African Youth Special Recognitions Award in 2016, and was voted by the Young Professionals and Youth Coalition of Ghana (YPYC) in 2015 as the Young Professional Role Model in youth development and empowerment.
He serves as Executive President of the Osei-Kusi Foundation, a provider of scholarships to young people in Ghana, Co-founder and President of the Pan-African Leadership Institute, Chancellor of GH Schools including oversight of Ghana’s fastest growing media college, GH Media School. He holds several current board roles and has a track record of establishing and scaling successful organizations, translating strategy and vision into action and results.
Dr. Osei-Kusi regularly appears as guest lecturer at global educational institutions, television and radio talk shows, and as a conference keynote speaker internationally. He successfully engages with people of all ages, bringing an unforgettable, inspirational teaching style. He has authored 18 books, including “10 Quality Decisions Every Young Person Must Make”, “The Power of Self-Confidence” and “Secrets to Workplace Success and Promotion”.
He holds a Doctor of Transformational Leadership Degree from Bakke Graduate University, Texas, USA, and an Executive Master of Human Resource Management (EMBA) Degree from the University of Ghana. He is happily married to Jackie, and they are blessed with four lively children.
Samuel Kwame Agyeman Prempeh, Board Secretary
Samuel Kwame Agyeman Prempeh is a pragmatic, resilient, determined and goal-oriented problem solver with an apt skill of communication and cooperate design thinking with a vision of creating an impeccable difference in Business. Over the years, Samuel has developed a keen interest in sales, marketing and business entrepreneurship, coming up with products and solutions with a scalable model approach. Samuel leverages on the fact that he can learn something he admires easily and the fact that he enjoys what he does with a sense of purpose. He aspires to be a global citizen travelling around the world to leave impacts and share his values and knowledge he has acquired over the years. Samuel loves music, meeting, connecting and learning from people.
